These seeds appreciate a deeply worked soil so their roots can stretch out. Begin working the soil three weeks before the last frost. They prefer soil temperature of 45 degrees F. Plant seeds and cover with 1/4 inches of very loose soil. You can plant aromatic herbs or onions to repel carrot flies.

Grow 2 inches high and should be 2-4 inches apart
